Are Negative Online Reviews Costing You Sales?

Unless you don’t get out in cyber space that often, as a business owner, you are aware that your online reputation is more important now than ever. An ever increasing number of consumers are diligently looking at Google Plus Local reviews (among others) before deciding who to invest their money with. The problem for most G+ listings is that they do not have an adequate number of reviews to compel any consideration at all. And for those that have negative reviews… unless they take action fast they are dead in the water.

Our webinar (below) goes into bad reviews and what to do about them but you must remember that the companies that really prosper in today’s online marketplace are those with the most positive reviews. “Neutral” really doesn’t cut it anymore. Take home builders for example:

As you can see from the image above all but 2 of these first page listings don’t have many reviews. I don’t know about you, but if I was in the market for a home builder in this town I would definitely look at Adam Michael Homes and then CKC Custom Homes, and probably just choose between those two. The others don’t have enough reviews to motivate me to even click their links.
